I've been uploading some rvb seasons(2hours long) from google video in the zune mp4 format- but when i add it, it looks like its gonna take 2 days to "convert". Is this because I'm using the wrong format and it has to convert, or does 'converting' just mean to transfer for the zune………….Thanks.

If it plays in the Zune program then it is in the correct format but the wrong resolution size.
Zune accepts these formats:
• Windows Media Video files (.wmv)
• MPEG-4 Video files (.m4v)
• Some QuickTime video files (.mov
The resolution cannot be larger than 320×240 or Zune will covert it to the correct size.
Two hour programs can take awhile to convert. I usually set up my converter to do that when I go to bed, running errands, or going to be at work. By the time I am ready to sync it is ready. I prefer to convert them before I sync as I am a bit impatient lol.
The only time Zune converts videos is if they are the wrong resolution size. It won't even find it if it is not the correct format. As far as I know it has nothing to do with taking up as little space as possible.
The Zune software will "convert" your videos to make sure the video takes up very little space in your mp3 player. Normally, it will only take about 45 minutes for a 2 hour movie to convert and sync.
