Mostly it's just bad music that you have to worry about. No radiation.
no it wont. The reason other things like mobile phones and radios have the radiation "problem" is because they recieve and give out radiation (radio waves in radios and microwaves in mobile phones). MP3 players dont give out or recieve any kind of signal so dont emit radiation. It emits some infa red radiation, but everything does, its heat and in an MP3 player is caused by the electric current of the device, but it doesnt harm you at all.
There are no radioactive substances used in MP3 players so therefore even if it were to crack the worst that could happen would be the battery break and you get battery acid on you, or glass from the screen if it smashed stuck in you, or both of these, that'd be pretty bad i think
No. Radiation is not in mp3 players. There are harmful chemicals in there that you shouldn't really touch or ingest but if it cracks open and you take a whiff of it or something, nothing will happen. Touching it wouldn't even really do anything, it's just the risk of getting it into your bloodstream, but that "risk" is so low that it shouldn't even be considered perilous at all.
Stuff that's in nuclear weapons isn't in iPods etc..
