  Yes you can. Convert the DVD to wmv format with a resolution no larger then 320×240. Put the converted files in the folder you have Zune monitoring for videos. It will find it there and add it to your collection. Then sync your Zune. There are a lot of converters out there. Just do a search and try them until you find one you like.

  Zune only supports the follow video formats:
  Windows Media Video (.wmv)
  MPEG4 video (m4v, .mp4, or .mov)
  H.264 video (.m4v, .mp4, or .mov)
