I got a Zune on Thanksgiving, but there's some ink spreading in the screen, so that I can't see anything, and it's getting bigger and bigger. How can I fix it?

I know that with ipods the battery only lasts a certain number of charges before it needs to be replaced. Recently I bought a Zune and I want to know if it would be best to only charge it when absolutely neccesary.

It shows me the list of songs that I've downloaded but it doesn't show me the list of songs that came with it therefore I can't erase them.
