i am gettin on this coming friday and need info about the zune player. i.e. do u like it? software? ur opinions and facts plz!

My poor, much-abused old CD player has finally died after 4-5 years of being dragged all over New York while I was at school, bouncing off several floors, and taking a couple minor Snapple baths, and I'm thinking that I want to get an mp3 player to replace it rather than another CD player. No iPod (I have ish with Mac, and they're a pain in the neck anyway) and no Zune. But I don't really know what else is out there- what's good and what isn't and all that. (Come on, I've been using a series of CD players since I was 10 years old .) What brands/models should I look into?

If not what do I need to do in order to get the video on my zune

at the moment , i am contemplating purchasing a zune (second generation)-(8gb) my brother has an ipod nano , but i don't like the way that it looks, anyway does anyone know if the quality of video on the zune is good? i really wouldn't want to risk wasting my hard-earned money again

okay i use to have a blue ipod nano but someone stole it from me in skool….idk who so i told my parents they were really upset….now i am asking my uncle if he can get me an ipod but the thing is idk what? ppl tell me i should get an ipod video 80 DGB but then other ppl are telling me i should get those new zunes that just came oout…holds like 8 hours of movies and tons and tons of music but idk what? what do u think i should get?

The Videos are in Mp4 Format in my Zune Libary but when i right click it and go to properties all of the information is o like it isnt on the computer but it is.Help Thanks.

it a 30GB and i got all the software install i just don't know how to install a video i been try for about 6 hr and nothing help out a brother

I use super c to convert my movies, but I don't like the quality when I watch them on the zune. I set the resolution and the bit rates to match what was listed on the avi files' properties. Am I supposed to do this, or am I supposed to the zune's resolution of 320×240 and just pick random bit rates. Oh and if you have any recommendations for other free video conversion programs, please tell me. Thank you for your help.

i just got a zune!the music and part is good liek it's all on but when it comes to teh video's it says "To updatethe folders -
Zune monitors for videos,see settings" But……..what do i do?

I've been uploading some rvb seasons(2hours long) from google video in the zune mp4 format- but when i add it, it looks like its gonna take 2 days to "convert". Is this because I'm using the wrong format and it has to convert, or does 'converting' just mean to transfer for the zune………….Thanks.

ipod and zune share the same video formats (.mp4, .mpeg, .wmv…) can i transfer ipod videos to a zune even if the megapixels are different? i mean, its okay as long they're in the correct format, right?

Basically some of my videos aren't showing up in the zune marketplace and the error code for them is C00D002F, when I click on web help zune.net tells me that "Unfortunately, there is no specific Web Help message for this error yet." can someone please help me?
